Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

Arturo100, it seems your texture pak for planets is damaged:

[MT] Loading "data/textures/planets/PlanetsTex0980.pak":[MT]     error

You should reinstall SpaceEngine 0980.

The same way you installed SpaceEngine 0980 the first time, by using the installer, if you don't have it anymore you can find it here.

Delete the 'main-user.cfg'.
You have probably installed in the old folder without first deleting all (remaining) files.

Nothing is rendered up close. Everything is rendered from a distance as a bright dot, but not rendered up close. Star atmospheres are rendered, as well as propellant gases, up close, but not the actual star or ship.

Post your 'se.log'. It is in the 'system' directory of SpaceEngine.

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

05 Apr 2020 14:34

Hi, I know that Intel HD Graphics 520 is not an ideal video card for Space Engine, but it (generally) works very well for me.
But some times I'm having an error just after start Space Engine (usually when there is a Sun Flare visible), it's some kind of post processing shader numeric error which bugs some shader cells, but not all of them.
If I exit and enter again, eventually this error goes away and the game works perfectly for any time I want.

Apparent error with "AP LIB Central Black".  Should be a black hole.  Nothing shown but a white square..!  Screen shot and log attached below... Love the program by the way :)

I don't know what is causing your problem, but you should update your graphics card driver. And delete the 'cache' folder in the SpaceEngine directory.
And if you have changed the quality of black holes in the settings, set them back to 'low'.

By the way, for me the black hole looks like this:
