Well more advanced doesn't necessarily mean it is large.
Plus Discovery was called the most advanced ship in the fleet.
It is your mod, scale it however you want. I can always edit the size for personal use, like I've done with the Kelvin Timeline Connie.
I was just giving some alternate view points.

Indeed, but for all we know it might not even be in the prime timeline
yet.

More power to you in those regards, thats why mods exist. Once someone downloads something it doesn't matter what they do on their end, so long as the effort I put in is being used and enjoyed in some way that makes it worth it.
However speaking of the JJprise, the next public release will have two variants of the Connie, one that is 725m and one that is 305.
sinsforeal, has already made the adjustments and it will be included after 0.9.9.0 comes out.
I was just giving some alternate view points.
Always welcome, but I figured if we're going to discuss it everyone should be able to explain their reasoning.

Good points.
Yeah, it's silly that the Kelvin Connie is 725, when it wasn't designed that way, but I stickler for canon lol

If you haven't read it you might find this interesting

Seems like the size is entirely dependent on the situation.

To be fair, that happens with a few ships in the franchise.
Just look at the Defiant.
FWIW 725 meters is the length CBS gave to Cryptic when they were making their Kelvin Connie model.
But yeah it is a mess.

Doctor, would it be possible for you to add in Klingon ships and Romulan ships to the Star Trek pack? Or perhaps the Destiny into the Daedalus/Prometheus pack?

The Interstellar blackhole shader isn't compatible with .9.8.0, correct? There is no blackhole.glsl file to replace as there is only a single shader.glsl file. Can you possibly update the mod? It's the only mod I want in Space Engine. Absolutely beautiful.

Not correct. Besides, you shouldn't replace anything.
Create a folder called "data/shaders" in the addons folder and move the blackhole.glsl there. That should do it

There is already a folder named data/shader. The only file in there is Shaders0980.pak. Do I just drop the file next to the pak file? I've tried it before but it didn't change blackhole visuals. I'll try again though. Thank you.

I just realized that you said to make those folders in the 'addons' folder. My mistake, thank you very much.

DoctorOfSpace, I've edited some of the planets (such as Vulcan, Romulus, Qo'noS and Andoria) in your Star Trek systems addon so that their landscapes aren't so flat. We can finally see the symbol of Vulcan, the sun rising over what I imagine to be Mt. Seleya (this landscape was generated by Rodrigo's mod):
