If the planets in the TRAPPIST-1 habitable zone have Earth-like atmospheres with an ozone layer, the surface will be safe from XUV irradiation. Otherwise the surface radiation flux will be rather extreme.

With Solar Walk 2 in my phone, I had a notification that he had a annular solar eclipse begin today in 13:07 GMT+1 (12:07 UTC) and when I looking in the application, the eclipse start in Ocean Pacific next to South America and finish in Africa about 18:35 GMT+1 (17:35 UTC).

Goodness no, all eclipses for thousands of years into the future have been predicted, or retrodicted into the past.  You can get details on them online or through software.  Personally I like using the program "Occult" (mostly for occultations, but it also does eclipses.)

I think this one was probably not so much in the news because it was an annular in the southern hemisphere and not over very populated areas.
