really cool!
can they be added freely? will they be objects to be added to the catalogs? and if so, in the catalogs of stars or planets, or will they be a separate category?
Wormholes are already a thing and require you to add them in manually. The GR update will simply make them functional - with the update, you'll have to specify a destination wormhole on both ends.

It's a very heavy performance hit, so maybe.

So if I buy a RX with 8gb of vram will be the perfomance slow? Or it still be very good for it?

performance with 8GB of VRAM is adequate.

8Gb or VRAM adequate, I'm glad to know it, I'm curious about, in what monitor resolution is adequate? we are speaking for 2k or 4k monitors? I have the lowest ones that are a little above 1300x700 lol

I have 8Gb VRAM and im playing in 4k. Average 60-70fps. In interstellar space is 144fps.

In my actual resolution then it should go beyond 200 fps if I buy a 8gb VRAM lolololol, what GPU do you have?

Traversable Wormholes are going to be so cool! I already have a headcanon technobabble that makes them tend to show up in more interesting places. (high "gravitational shear" leads them to tend toward close binaries and dense objects)

dang, imagine a game based on SpaceEngine where you use wormholes to travel between galaxies bilion light years apart... that would be so much cool!

Massive WIP but a test I did earlier today.
Wow.. Since the ships I am using don't feature hyperdrives this will become handy. Will this be released only for .991_publicbeta? Or will it be available for .990 default as well?

It will appear in the beta branch first then release to the main branch, like with anything else.

Marking and naming spots and surface characteristics is a feature in the TODO list (http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=72 ) so it will certainly be implemented in future. There are mods available in the Steam workshop that use SE scenario scripts to mark main planetary nomenclatures for many objects as an example of what can be achieved with scripts.
What you ask, a planetary stereographic map with notable spots, it's not in the TODO list but given the scope and goals of the program it's quite possible that some version of that could be implemented in future.
