I should have specified with "delete cache" I mean the folder named "cache" into the spaceengine folder. When you delete the cache folder SE will calculate the content again, which is the reason we delete the cache folder.
Ah thanks, but now that it works, do I still need to delete it or can I keep it as is?  I like to have it deleted automatically whenever I install a new driver from a clean install.  And was it a good idea to also remove the Mountains 098 and Teegarden's Fictional planetary add-ons also (since I already have Teegarden's V2?)

Something else I needed to ask about, so I synced my systems folder with Google Drive (a bad idea) and I later wanted to free up storage space from Google Drive so I decided to delete the folder from Google Drive and it somehow ended up deleting it from my SE folder too.  I went to the recycle bin to recover the files, but I'm not sure I got all of them.  Are these all of the files (you can see their last modified date matches the date that I recovered them from the recycle bin so I'm not sure if they were altered in any way.)

Post it to an adequate site, like Imgur (which does not require you to use an account) then click the image icon in the editor and paste the link into the textbox.

After latest steam update, I am experiencing a lot of flickering and screen flashing (black-normal in very rapid succession) which is very annoying and tiresome. It used to happen  before latest update but noticeably less frequently. This is most apparent in low orbit around planets and while panning the view in and out of the planet view. I regularly delete the contents of the cache folder after each and every update/addon/steamworkshop item. I also stopped updating graphics driver after 472.12 ver.  I present se.log file. Any help much appreciated.

According the log you could be using fullscreen mode on dual displays, is that so? Does it flicker if you're in windowed mode? Are there no updated graphics drivers?

Nvidia Surround @ 5760x1080. Since ages ago.. Never had a problem with it. Haven't checked window mode. Will report back asap.
OK after some preliminary checks, the flickering and flashes do not appear to occur in windowed mode. More time is needed to verify this.

Down to a single monitor myself, 1920 by 1080, and still get the flickering in windowed mode. More apparent in auto-exposure mode.

Oh, sorry! I didn't say, did, I...

GTX 1050, 2GB video memory, driver version: 457.30

I realize the driver may be old, but I am given to understand that SE .9.8.0 will cease to work with newer versions, and despite the lighting improvements with 990, there are things about .9.8.0 that just work better, and I don't think I'm willing to give it up just yet.

Oh yeah... still Win 7.

I'm curious to know what parts of 98 you think do things better than 99.
