Just started a little YouTube channel, focusing on my love of sunrises/sunsets on distant planets. It's not as incredible as some of the work I see here, but I think it's rather nice for a first production.
Meld my brain with the music and take me to space.

Also, thanks ProteusThat means a lot. And I'm glad you're using "In The End" as a presentation video since its my most "clean" video (no mods, tricks, editor, etc.)

LiveLife42,fantastic video, and it looks superb in 4k.  How long does it take to record those clips?  I doubt it can be a short amount of time considering the detail, res, and framerate.

It took a decent amount of time to get all the clips. What takes me the longest is finding the correct types of planets and having to deal with SpaceEngine crashing. Going around loading a bunch of planets really puts a pain on the engine and it will crash a lot. I think when making this video I crashed atleast 15 times. Also I get really wierd frame drops where sometimes my fps will go all the way down to 15 and then back up to 50 or 60.

Well hopefully with the new camera system coming out you will be able to record paths in a lower resolution and then record them for your videos in high res.  That should save you a lot of time  :)

Truly wonderful, LL42.  I wonder, are there any postprocessing tools which could eliminate the banding effects?  HDR and 10/12 bit video gaining momentum, these banding artefacts become somewhat distracting.

It's due to youtube reprocessing the video. In my orignal rendered video there is no banding.

Ouch.  I hope you keep the originals.  If you add slight, random noise to your videos before uploading, perhaps the problem largely disappear.

Also, there's this one, but I can't upload it to YouTube because of heavy copyright claims
