Quite awesome, though it's a bit hard to know the scale in some of the images.  I wonder how much will remain in July.

Over here we had early snow this winter, but very little snowfall during the winter, so most was melted by the first warm spell in April.  Fortunately, we've had some fresh snow and cold weather in the last week just in time for Easter break renewing the skiing opportunities in Oslo and it seems to stay for another week.

Yeah, it was often hard to grasp the scale in person, too.  The fir trees (~20m tall) probably provide the best reference, especially for things very far away.

On a typical year they will get the road cleared enough to open it sometime in July, and at that point everything is still pretty deeply covered.  Most of the ground gets exposed during August, and many snowfields stay year-round.  Depends on the weather but it will be interesting to see how late this pack lasts.  It's also interesting to think of how much water must be stored in it -- a few meters liquid equivalent over a very wide area.

I made an album of calm piano music, accompanied with orchestral instruments. It's made on six pieces about ten minutes long.

Here's the link :

Hope you'll enjoy it !

Very nice sound! I think they would fit perfectly on animated shorts like The Cat Piano, but also many others

Yeah, those are truly amazing. Well done. Those little white specs and whisps though... They almost look like clouds, is that what they are? Clouds above larger clouds... I guess it is possible, right?

I've been doing some Star Wars math and art lately, looking to start doing some more infographics and considering starting a channel with technical commentaries.

Spent the last week and a half in Florida, took quite a few pictures so here is a decent sized dump.  Spent some time in the Everglades, pretty cool place and definitely need to go back.

My first photo dump on this newfangled forum. (i've been busy with balancing a full-time job and school.)

I went to Florida recently and visited the Kennedy Space Center.

Saw a totally legit astronaut.

KSC is an excellent place to visit in Florida. It's best to stay away from the parks in Orlando, which are a terrible waste of money.
