Space; How did you get interested in it?

I've been interested in anything space since I was a kid and got my first (very tiny) telescope and I could see Saturn's rings clearly. It was basically just pinhead sized dot, with a circle around it. I have watched pretty much all space documentaries and have watched every single episode of How the Universe Works.

Anyone else ever seen the VHS tape of "Patrick Stewart Narrates The Planets"? I had that on all the time as a kid whenever we were able to get it from the library. Loved Tomita's rendition of Holst's score and loved the combination of Voyager images and CGI. When I grew a bit older I was primarily interested in space because of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (albeit these days I admit it's not exactly quality storytelling) before, of course, falling in love with Trek. I didn't fall in love with realistic space travel though until I watched my first video of Kerbal Space Program gameplay.

Seeing new exoplanet news come out every couple weeks during around 2015-2018 was also pretty fascinating, although I hope one day I'm able to see exoplanets in more detail than just little white dots or CG representations.
