Wow these are spectacular!  What planet/star system did you find all these in?

I’ll check my marked locations and see if I can remember.

what spectrum of brown dwarf are these supposed to be? L, T or Y?
My Brown Dwarf is to be the moon to a larger, more massive Gas Giant that is not yet dense enough to create nuclear fusion. If that would even be possible, I don't really know, since I haven't done any calculations. Anyway, I wanted to research and compare other Brown Dwarfs already in Space Engine with mine. I ended up choosing the "Y8.5 V" type Star Class with a temperature of only 770K. I made sure to also set the Age as I think that affects true colors. In SE there is some cut off temperature where the cloud textures no longer display. Here's a pic of what I ended up making.

Hmm, the only problem here is that type Y dwarf stars are the COLDEST of brown dwarfs (<- that is a very interesting article BTW), being little more then gargantuan inert gas-giants with a hint of nucleosynthesis at their cores. Most if not all have cloud temperatures below 100oC. I'm not entirely sure how accurate the SE data is on brown dwarfs.  Maybe the temperatures given are for convection temperatures, or just average temperature.
In SE there is some cut off temperature where the cloud textures no longer display. Here's a pic of what I ended up making.
Nice textures. Still, I wouldn't make it quite so bright-looking (I mean, the cloud-color. I know the rest of it is being illuminated by a nearby star). Probably something a bit more opaque and boring-looking would be realistic for Y dwarf stars. That being said, it's your mod, so do whatever you want to do :). Consider this a bit of learned advice.

"Dark Matter Nebula" - now THAT would be the day!

I heard there was a brown dwarf star found with a surface at room temperature close by- so could a brown dwarf actually be habitable?

Yes. I`m building a real two satellites right now. Planned launch times is end of June 2019 with SOYUZ, and August 2019 with ESA rocket.

Messing with values and textures for custom Nebulae scripts. Results seem to be mostly random lol
