Funny how I have such a low end graphics card and an I3 processor. I go onto youtube for help and I find this.

So I just had my home state magically shrunken.  And by home state I mean the state quarter, and by magic I mean an awesome application of electricity and magnetism. :)

I watched Alien: Covenant. Didn't like it nearly as much as I wanted to like it. Are ALL planets in Hollywood perfect copies of Earth? Perfectly breathable with 1g and pretty sunsets?

After the first 30 minutes of boohooing and thrashing about because someone died, I opted to finish the movie some other time.

The CGI looked like something from a daytime syfy TV series. Or sharknado.

If you want a lower special effects budget that is one of the easiest ways to reduce costs.

I didn't like it at all. The depiction of standard human behavior in case of contact with alien species in that franchise is fishy to say the least, despite the usual sci-fi "suspension of disbelief". Maybe it can be useful for a movie or two, not for an entire series of sequel/prequel.

Filming a movie all in one location can get boring quickly too, so I should be thankful for the set changes.
We finished watching and I'm glad it was a long movie because it DID get better.
Besides all the science flaws and odd human behavior, the action was pretty good, and it did turn out how I thought it would.
I'd recommend the recent movie Passengers if you want more science lol

Maybe we would already have moon stations and would already be on Mars ?! :|
