Fortunately, the right weather isn't such a binary thing this time for success, more a gradually limiting thing on what can be done.  I was hoping to get all through a melt tunnel through the glacier, usually a 1.5 hour hike from town each way, but we'll have to see what's possible.  It's certainly a change from California a couple of days ago.

ADDED: Upon arrival we discover that there's 15-20 cm of newly fallen light snow on the ground and it snows pretty densely, which is rare here.  All of that snow will be swept off the mountain plateaus by the wind tomorrow and it's too risky to be near steep slopes due to the avalanche risk.  So new plans.  Blizzard hike in the wide valley instead.  As we're settling for the night, the wind is picking up and it's sometimes difficult to see across the street.

You have to make 10 posts i think

But when you have made enough posts, there should be a button called New Topic in the top of a subforum.

But please do not make a new thread unless it will not fit in anywhere as a post on an existing thread :)

Kaue_, nice video! In my opinion, robots should have rights if they get conscious, if they don't it's discrimination or slavery.

Also, videos about science should be posted in Science and Astronomy videos, that thread is meant for stuff like that.

i think it isn't science really, it's more about morality than science.

we have lot of almond trees around here and they are beautiful in the spring, they remind me of the cherry trees blooming like in japan. took image of the almond tree next to my house from my balcony:
