Where are the procedural Subdwarfs and Bright Giants? (size VI and II) [0.9.8.0]

25 Jan 2018 00:35

I've never found any Subdwarfs (VI) or Bright Giants (II) in SE 0.9.8.0 - subdwarfs should be around somewhere at least, since they're in the Star Browser list of stars that can be searched for, and I can't think of a reason for Bright Giants not to exist here.

Perhaps there are some real named ones in the Milky Way but I spend most of my time in SE exploring other galaxies, and they've never showed up on the star browser list when I search the surrounding systems. Are they not generated procedurally at all? Anyone know what's going on with these?

They are not generated in 0.980. In the next version subdwarfs will be generated, as well as all types of red giants.
