Any Idea when the next beta will be out?

Something I use in SE now is I use it to not just calculate ship journey times but I also use it for missile to ship calculations. I am not a pro at the ship builder but what I can do is build a ship which looks like a missile and have it target a ship and accelerate towards it. The problem I am having is the flip-and-burn with the missile (ship) since it would be a nonstop acceleration towards target. Is this flip and burn feature created for all ship models or is it addressed when the ship is implemented into SE? I could find nothing representing missiles.  I hope this is in the right thread. Does anyone have any missile or ship models or advice to help with my mock-up ship to ship combat?

How ROUGH estimated do you want it?
Maybe it will appear in 2018. Maybe only in 2019.
Or it will appear still later.

Have you considered creating a Frontier: Elite 2 (or Pioneer space sim)-like base game and then building onto it?I think it's a very simple concept that would be amazing within the graphics engine.

I think that it's better for them to keep doing what they're already doing than to just throw all of their brainstorming sessions, projects and concepts away to go in a radically different direction. I know that it's hard when you don't know when the definite game's coming out, but it's better to wait than to get a rushed game, and the time developers take might be beneficial.

It's like the game STALKER : Shadow of Chernobyl. It remained in development for more than half a decade, but that overextended development resulted in a great game that still has a very dedicated community that keeps playing and modding the game 12 years after said game was released, and 9 years after the release of the last part of the trilogy.

Cont'd from here:
I do have one wish for the final release: make the game constructive instead of destructive. Make it a game of colonization, not one of destruction. Have planets become developed, not destroyed. I love the planetarium and exploration aspect of space engine. My personal biggest fear is if space engine becomes a game of survival and conquest, all the absolutely hard effort gone into the game would go to waste, as people would be too busy defending their own turf (or surf, or air) to explore.

This is my only wish.

I just registered to say that this concept sounds realy great and give me some hope to play some day the space game i ever dreamed of.

Are the concept still worked on? Or is the Engine development top priority right now?

I would like to hear a lot more of it!`

Thanks!

Is there a source from where i can take the name and use it in the search?

For example i coulfn't find the name for the galaxy that the Black hole is at Phoenix ...

I want space engine more realistic by every supernova nebula must have neutron star or pulsar at the center , every planetary nebula must have white dead at the center , in every diffuse nebula must have baby and normal star cluster generate in nebula *baby star › normal star* , I heard you (developer of space engine) made circumstellar or protoplanetary disk if you made it success it should spin and protoplanet will genarate around main star (it may barycenter of binary star system) and generate more dense in disk (+ more asteroid). It will be in class drawf planet (and normal planet very less) that covered by lava and more in crator. Main star's age about 0.25-15 million years . About 15 -200 million years normal planet (covered by lava) more in not asteroid belt. , and unusual planet orbit. It a rough planted catch by main star found this in 1 in 1000 solar system.

For example, a small probe can be made on the ship within 10 minutes, but a colony on the planet is built for many months or years (of real time).
A space game on the scale of entire galaxies that doesn't have timewarp sounds rather boring. I mean, I won't be buying a game based upon SpaceEngine if it takes literal years just to build some colonies to upgrade.

In all honesty, taking months of real time to fully establish a interstellar colony doesn't sound all that unreasonable. Bear in mind that this is a space-simulator, not just a space-game like Dangerous: Elite. Besides, you will have plenty of other things to do in the mean time, such as establishing other colonies, building interplanetary infrastructure, making interstellar trade routes, exploring stuff, researching tech-trees, etc. As long as the wait times are balanced with other activities like those aforementioned and even some optional stuff like combat, it should be a good experience. I would also expect terra-forming to take a long tome as well, since physically changing a planets surface is a arduous and immense task.
