Patch 0.9.8.0e

30 Jan 2018 13:10

i can't find the file SolarSys.sc and also i don't have the folder 'planets' in catalogs
SolarSys.sc is inside Catalogs0980.pak, which is simply a renamed .zip file.
Some folders that you don't find under addons/ or data/, such as catalogs/, planets/, stars/ etc., are not created by SpaceEngine and usually they are created manually if needed.
You can extract a copy of SolarSys.sc file from the .pak file, make your correction with the text editor, then place the fixed .sc file under data/catalogs/planets/ folder that you'll create manually.

Patch 0.9.8.0e

21 Feb 2018 04:37

This update is pretty great.  I have experienced a few crashes and problems where I have to press buttons on the UI multiple times before they work but it's nothing game breaking.

Patch 0.9.8.0e

new versión?
I'm afraid there is no decided date yet for the new version. Sagittarius A* most probably will appear more brilliant, since the luminosity of the accretion disk should be way more brilliant in reality than in 0980 version.

Hi, the patch is meesing "exotic views" (fisheye, cylindrical...) so I prefer to use it without the patch most of the time
