General suggestions for SpaceEngine

It would be cool if on living planets you put the composing of the elements for life on that planet
In such a hostile universe it is not necessary be the center to be special, just be alive

How about intergalactic stars/systems scattered inbetween galaxies?

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

I've been playing the game with the "Game Mode" a lot recently, and I have a suggestion. Would it be possible to make a landed spacecraft more "fixed" to the surface? Currently they keep their current orientation while the planet is rotating, as if they were still in orbit*. Also they seem to move a bit (also vertically) if they are approached when the terrain is not fully loaded yet.

* Edit: After some thought, you should probably keep this behavior when "Kill rotation" is turned on. But let it change orientation according to planet rotation when it's turned off.

I believe SpaceEngineer has already said that "if it is something that exists and is known to modern astronomy, then yes it will be added eventually."

1) Asteroid/comet surfaces need to be more realistic and varied (real pics attached).
2) For gas giants with a lot of moons sometimes what happens is there is a low-inclination group of moons and then a larger halo of dwarf moons. The strange thing is the semimajor axes of the moons in this halo are almost exactly the same.
3) Procedural galaxy sizes shouldn't cap at 100 kpc.
4) Procedural globular clusters need to be brighter and have more stars.
5) Nebulae are small (<40ly) and never have an associated open cluster.
6) Almost all procedural irregular galaxies look the same.

I feel you regarding the procedural galaxies' size cap, but I have a hunch that it's in there for a reason - like perhaps without it we'd have the odd galaxy 50 Mpc across outshining the Moon from the edge of the visible universe xD
Here's hoping sooner or later SpaceEngineer does another deep-space-focused update and improves the galaxy generation algorithm.

Well, obviously I want there to be a size limit, just not that low. Also I believe that the game prevents procedural objects from generating above a certain magnitude.

Something else I wanted to say too is that planet temperatures cap at 1200 K even if they're glowing white-hot. This can be increased by the greenhouse effect but only by a few hundred K.

Almost all planetary nebulae don't have progenitor stars either.
I'd be nice to see more compact objects inside nebulae ;c besides the crab neb.

Last I heard those had been temporarily removed due to some bug they were causing for SpaceEngineer. Here's hoping in the next edition they come back :\

Same but why would they remove it instead of just fixing it?

I just have one small and minor suggestion that is not already in the game, but there needs to be a way that when you are looking at the line up of planets when you click on "Planetary System" to the left, to be able to right click on the planet/moon/etc you are wanting to go go and click "Go to Object" because as it is right now, you have to left click physically on the object and then right click. I just would like it where you can right click on the planet/moon/etc that you want from that menu and go to it instead of having to find it 1st and then be able to say "go to object"

Err... Because he couldn't fix it yet for some reason?

Usually I click on "Planetary System", I click on the planet where I want to go then I press "G" on the keyboard... Using the mouse it's slower, in your case as example:
left-click - left-click - right-click - left-click
Versus
left-click - left-click - G

Although a completely clickable interface could be maybe useful with certain hardware...

Accretion disks are missing some optical effects, i.e doppler and gravitational shifts.

http://articles.adsabs.harvard.edu//ful ... 4.000.html

EDIT: LOL I'm blind, they are present it's just hard to see unless you look carefully.

Last I checked they do in fact feature Doppler shifts, unless you mean something in addition to blueshifting and redshifting on different sides o_O

The doppler shift of the accretion disk is absent.

If you saw an real accretion disk you wouldn't be able to see those effects anyway.  Accretion disks would be brighter than the sun.
