What UI skin do you use?

I suppose nobody uses green and red themes, so they could be removed.

Ok, I thinking of leaving only black and blue themes, and red ones as a night mode, like in all planetarium software (will add a button on the toolbar).

Regarding skins, 0.981 will have the new skin, updated retro blue (I suppose it is pretty popular), and updated modern. Minimalistic would be probably removed. If I have enough time, I can make a variation of the new skin with a more square-shaped controls. Anyway, all old skins will be available as addons.

Write here what do you think.

I use Minimalistic Black! I like space-efficient and simple styles like that of EVE Online.

For the new skin, I like all. For the font, color and the shape of the windows.

I use Minimalistic Blue. So if it is removed I will be unhappy

I use the Space Engine's theme (that can be considered "Retro", if I'm not wrong), but I've personally edited it

(for example I've changed the main menu buttons color).

Eventually I can publish it if you don't mind.

EDIT: Well, I already know I'm going to forgot so I'm gonna do that in advance. I remember I've changed the appearance of the buttons, but now I realized I've edited the .png file for doing that, and changing the .png file will reflect the edits on all the other "retro" skins of the game, and... well, they're violet/blue so they doesn't really fit to other colors...
So, yeah, it's not going to help a lot, unless if I paint them gray/black again. I also changed other features too, windows are slightly more transparent (knowing that the background will be blurred) and "close" button is now reddish, but basically it's the retro skin with rounded and violet buttons and some minor changes. It would look a lot better if I had the time to put a proper background (with right colors) and a proper logo.

Currently I use Retro Black, as to me it looks the most modern (funnily enough, considering it's called "retro"). Though I'll certainly be switching to the new UI skin once 0.981 comes out! =)

What I keep hoping to see is a UI that can somewhat resemble the vibe of the ship/station menu panels in Elite: Dangerous, but in a blue-ish hue.

One thing I imagine is making the borders of things have a slight neon glow to them (kind of like how orbit lines glow in the new bloom system in 0.9.8.1, but more subtle, giving it a much more digital, holographic feel. I might even recommend giving the backgrounds a very slight pinstripe banding to help replicate the digital effect (if you know what I'm talking about). Other than that, I would MAYBE make the headers of all the windows be seamless with the windows instead of being bordered against them. That just depends on how it turns out looking for the overall effect, which may or may not work with it.

I use the "Celestial Legacy" theme.

If possible, I think it would be awesome to have customizable colors, like a slider for Hue or similar. The new themes look super awesome and being able to customize them would be even better.

Minimalistic red. Gives me that '1980s computer' vibe without being illegible.

I think 47 people (as of this posting) is entirely too small of a sample size to make decisions based on.

Minimalistic Green. The green reminds me of my days with an Amstrad CPC which had a green and black screen. And minimalistic seems easier on my eyes.

waterlubber, you can customize colors and even widget textures even in 0.980. Go to data/textures/common, extract pak files and open any *skin.cfg file in notepad. You can make you own "My super skin.cfg" file with totally different colors, and make a new interface_my.png texture for a widget images.
