Betelgeuse in the future - After supernova

[center]BETELGEUSE IN THE FUTURE [v2][/center]

[center]After a long wait, version 2 is finally done. It may not be worth the wait, but the main [/center]
[center]reason why it took so long is because I have been working on a custom type of [/center]
[center]planet called a "Gas Dwarf". This is meant to act as a planet that was once a Gas Giant[/center]
[center]and has been destroyed, and what remiains is a "Gas Dwarf", though the class name is[/center]
[center]desert. The nebula comes in this version but has no texture. I decided to do all the[/center]
[center]heavy work once 0.9.9.0 has come out, as I will have to rewrite most of the .sc files[/center]
[center]anyway. One of the minor changes that was added was the Neutron Star's accretion[/center]
[center]disk. That was the main motivation for the version, but I ended up doing other things[/center]
[center]in the process. Also I removed planets that were to buggy to fix.[/center]

You should wait for the 0.981 release with Duke nebulae mechanics. Only adding a nebulae for the Betelgeuse supernova makes sense for this mod. Else it's just a small and simple catalog mod with replacing of few objects.

You most certainly would if you wanted to use the new nebula setup. It is incredibly complex to the point of it being difficult for even SpaceEngineer.

Yeah, don't expect animated supernova and planetary nebulae in 0.981. This requires implementing of supernova stars, which is quite complex system.

Are you saying Duke's shaders won't be in the 0.981 release, or just that they won't be used for supernova-related stuff?

I have ran into a problem. When I try to replace the Red supergiant version of Betelgeuse with a neutron star, It looks like a wormhole. +It automatically replaces all the planets which I will be adding soon.

That part is normal. Neutron stars are very dense objects, and their gravity bends light in almost the same way that a black hole does.

Watsisname But when you go close to it the light goes away and it looks exactly like a wormhole.

Neutron stars can't have 20 solar masses as in the picture, they have between around 1.4 and 3 solar masses. Any more than that will become a black hole.
