PS what killed your card exactly? I heard keeping GPU usage in the 50% or less range keeps GPU in good working condition for a decade or more- is that true?
I actually don't know, I launched Quake Champions the first time with suggested graphics and it worked just fine. Then I increased graphics and everything became black.
I don't use the computer everyday, and when I do I never play for more than 2 hours, if I'm not using it just for YouTube or using Unity3D. If I ever stress my GPU is when I use emulators, but I guess most of the work is done by CPU rather than GPU, I use Unity to make mobile games so I don't think that's the cause.
Now if I unplug my GPU the computer works just fine, with GPU connected it's all black except the loading screen and BIOS.
WT*? This shouldn't have happened! Software should be incapable of causing hardware damage imo. It must have been another reason.
In the licence they always write that "they don't take responsibility to any damage", I don't know if it is always true or just in case of improper use.
In my case I can't really tell what happened.
