Has anybody observed total solar eclipses on Earth in Space Engine? What I've been trying to do is hover over the specular highlight of the Sun on the Earth, and speed up time until I can see the Moon's shadow. All I've seen so far have been partial eclipses, though.

Oh yes.  As mentioned the timings are not accurate yet (the Moon's orbit is hella complicated) but you can still get them.

Fisheye of the whole sky, showing the lit horizon beyond the shadow.  The color isn't right -- it'd require a ray tracing code with light scattering.  But still neat.




It's really fun to do this on other planets.
