Advanced "Go To" function

22 Dec 2016 10:40

Hello there,
I am wondering if there is a way to change the flight duration time of the "Go To" function while maintaining the automatic orbit when destination has been reached?
Examples:
Destination: Zeta Reticuli 2b.     Journey Time: 10 mins
Destination: Proxima Centari. Velocity/Speed: .5 ly/s

This is something that I really could do with

Thanks

Set it for 3 minutes and watch yourself slowly flying to another galaxy

That is awesome! Especially as it will make my current project a major less of a headache to do! lol
Any idea when it may be done?

Probably not in time for your current project

6 Months time? That would still be helpful!

What you could do is spawn a ship and warp to a destination. Just change the warp exponent until you find your speed and press 1 to escape the locked ship cam. Fly in front of the warp bubble and enjoy the limited travel  :D
