Re: A Note About Eventual Mac Compatibility

Registered a moment ago. Found this site in a tweet. Also looking forward (patiently) to a Mac port.
Nearly 7 years since I registered and posted this lone entry. Apple computers now run exclusively on Apple Silicon. Wondering whether or not that the possibility of a Mac port has been re-visited?
It will be interesting to see what possibilities the move to Vukan opens up.

When are we going to get a space engine for mac?? Its been almost an enitre century.

I understand that its harder to make these on mac cause apple makes it a pain these types of game.

Just please try to release it in 2025.

With Apple dropping OpenGL support a while ago, there wasn't much a chance for a single developer to rewrite the code from start and support it, in addition to the windows version.
Extant things a Mac version, while is not excluded, it's certainly rather far away, "next century" if you allow me to use your hyperbole. Transition to Vulkan is the most pressing development now, as without it things won't go steadily forward.
