This Mod is called Sternenwart, which is the first ever Mod I have created on Space Engine. It is a binary Star System which includes a K and M type Star on fairly distant orbits. The system went thru many changes as I tried to make up my mind. After the save file was lost, due to corruption, I worked on a new and improved system. Which is very similar to the old one but has some changes to it, mostly to the M star system. 

The System has:

1. 20 Planets
2. 4 Dwarf Planets
3. Asteroid Belts/Comets
4. Interesting an varied worlds
5. >400 Objects

The Terrain and Cloud Mod by Rodrigo was used at first but later dropped due some planets looking better without it, and the laptop being unable to handle it. The Belt Generator was used for the swarm of moons around Gas Giant/Ice Giants and, of course, the asteroid belts and comets.

I do not know the expression "Sternenwart" as a translation of "Star's way". But of course I do not know every German word. Maybe you could point out where you found it. (I'm German)

While yes the name Sternenwart does translate to the other names too, I have heard that it does also translate (roughly=really stretching what its possibe) to "Stars-way"(Called my friend in Germany+ My Dad). The name is Sternenweg is more fitting to the translation I admit, but I found the name Sternenwart better. But thank you for pointing it out, I hope you can enjoy the mod anyway!  
If you find anymore "weird things", please point them out! The system is not 100% realistic of course.

These seem to crash my SE program (0.9.8.0 beta) in boot-up. I put them in the proper folders....do I need some other Mod, or am just out of luck on this one?

Yeah...I figured. It's probably why I also have problems with Tabby's Star. Can I install SE to a different folder and run it separately? Like say I wanted to run 0.9.8.0 e and 0.9.8.0....could that be done?

Never mind that Jack...I discovered it works on my own. lol But it reminds me of something that has puzzled me since day one. I was going to ask what mod I must have installed to make the Great Lakes appear partially dried up...but after installing it separately from the original install, I realize it isn't a mod...it comes that way.

Why do the Great Lakes appear partially dried up, and is there anything I can do to fix that?

Yeah...I replied without quoting that I figured it out...but added another issue about sea level on Earth just after that. Still getting used to the forum.

I can not tell you much about the problem with the sea level.
It seems to be due to the textures. You probably can not do much.
You could change the 'BumpOffset' and the 'Heigth' of the 'Ocean', but then you would change the other coasts as well.
(Incidentally, the problem also exists in SE 0.990.)

It appears to be a global 'drought' lol. I assume the file to edit would be in the Catalogs0980.pak....SolarSys.sc? I've tried tinkering with it, but I'm not sure what values would work. It's tricky. I'm surprised they haven't fixed that issue. To me...it's a big one.

I have tried everything I know. Of course this kind of script editing is not my field of expertise. I have used grayscale/bump maps, etc. before in Sim City...and it looks like the bump map is no good. While the global water level is a tad low in SE, the Great Lakes are just not deep (dark) enough in the bump map itself. This is something that's bothered me for years with SE. I didn't see that in other space sims...maybe they can steal their bump maps...lol
I'd really, really like to see them come up with a fix for this...any idea who I could talk to about it?
