What... me again? Well... okay...

My Trip Into the Rings

Full thrust into the rings. Might seem crazy but you have to match ring particle orbital velocity.

Every body wants to go outside and have a look by this point.
990-00340.jpg
I can hear the hiss of snow against the hull...
990-00364.jpg
Still pictures don't do it justice.
990-00366.jpg
It's really quite spectacular drifting through the rings. Again, Vlad, bravo!

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum, and I would like to share with you some images that I have taken in Space Engine during these last months. I clarify that they are photos that I have taken of things that I have found in the simulator, and well I have not written down the coordinates of some locations hahaha

Anyway I hope you like the photos.

Wow, Cronos_99, nice intro.

This...

...is my favourite.  But they are all nice.

(Wish they were bigger.)  Did you edit the Shuttle's texture? Or is that just a lighting thing?

Hello, thank you very much the truth, I tried to select the best photos for this forum. hahaha let's see, let me explain, it is a solar system with 3 comets that pass simultaneously approximately every 190 years, the truth is, perspective is what generates that form of "ladder" in comets. The photos are not edited, in itself, the only thing I did was raise the exposure minimally, and the brightness of the comets. Just that hahaha

I am a photographer, and basically I try to make each photo of Space Engine unique in my case, even if it is a simulator, there is no similar photo, no matter how much you take 10, each one will have something different. haha

this has a very 0.980 feel to it, it's probably from that version of SE?

How on earth?! Or how in space should I say lol.  You've been holding out on me fellow Alex!  Why didn't you tell me you were doing this before, I would have asked you, because it's next on my list.  How did you find a ship with rows of windows like that and can you look through them?  I want that ship!  It looks like a plane that can fly in space lol.  And so there are collision algorithms programmed in with the ring particles?  I want to test out my flying and collision avoidance skills!

Wow you didn't make this system yourself, it's like this by default in .990?

Hey how do you match the velocity of the ring particles.  I like that you have to go full speed ahead!  Also where did you find the astronaut photographer and can you attach a camera to his head to get his view of space?  Maybe you can make him do a space walk or jump from ring particle to ring particle!

Wow this is a beautiful system and great lighting!  Are all your ring screenshots from the same system in .990?
