According to control settings engines throttle is set to +/- and Numpad+/Numpad-. Nothing in "mouse" column, but I still can throttle up/down by scrolling mouse wheel. :( It's very unintuitive to me, I keep ruining my orbits trying to zoom at/out of my ship.

60 bucks for the pro version.... I can't even afford the 18 buck version! So since there is a Pro version does this mean that there are things only those who have the cash can enjoy while the rest of us have to make due with 9.8 or the basic 9.9?

Deeply disappointed in how expensive this is. (Yes its expensive, I live on a fixed income due to disability so things like Space Engine will be off the table for some time to come)

With the PRO version you mainly buy the license for the commercial use of SpaceEngine.
For example, to take screenshots or videos with it to make money.
In addition, the PRO version contains some things that are mainly useful for that. For normal use, these functions are of little use.
You can fully enjoy SpaceEngine with the $ 20 version.

You shouldn't be disappointed at all, indeed you should be happy for Vladimir selling SE at that price, because of those reasons:
1. It'll make his life easier.
2. He can hire more programmers and probably also buy an office, which would boost his development speed by like x5, and updates would be coming out way more frequently.
3. He gave you years of work for free, and now you're complaining about the price? Shame on you! It's now time that he gets payed for all of his work!

One more thing: Pro version is for commercial use, that's why it's so expensive.
I love space. I love color. I love life. I love planets. I love stars. I love galaxies. I love my in-game made avatar. I love SpaceEngine. I love everything.

I tried out VR (Which is actually really cool and scary btw) and there doesn't seem to be much of a UI, and most buttons don't do much. Am I missing something? VR is incredible, but man is it hard to navigate with any real precision.
Can I have an order of uhhh randomly generated city lights?

The black-body colouration option caught my interest. I assume CIE 709 corresponds with the Rec. 709 gamut, and by extension, sRGB. I wonder what plain CIE is, then?

Thank you for explaining the Pro version. First of all I live in a world where I have to watch every penny I spend. you will be surprised how quickly 600 bucks can vanish in a month. (Mostly groceries takes the biggest chunk of my money stuff I could buy for only a few dollars 5 years ago now cost over 20 bucks ) I also think your comment 3 is uncalled for especially in the light that I have read in some forums that SE was to be free. And if I could I would had donated some money to this software. Its hard to be cheerful when your own government does its best to starve you to death...

Absolutely love the auto exposure feature.
That was one of my mostly anticipated features (the other was the new nebula models). However now that I am actually playing with 0.990 I have mixed feelings about it - but mostly positive :). What I mean is that it is literally blindingly beautiful. I know there must be ways to diminish this blinding effect but when I try to do it I get some very dark exposures. So it's kinda tricky to find the sweet spot. I think the default setting is the best at the moment.
I also think that the display(s) we are using are somewhat limited and can't cope with the HDR requirements of the program. I am using 3 HD LCD TVs and because they are of different brand I get different responses, colors and final results are a bit off. But still it is an awesome experience. When I manage to save a descent amount of money I will invest in a proper HDR 4K display. But this is probably going to take a loong long time :(.

In 0.990, How to adjust "Immediate loading mode", "Interleaved loading mode" and "Asynchronous Loading mode"??
Open Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngine\config\main-user.cfg in Notepad, then search for LoaderMode.
There's a keybinding for this, but I can't remember what it is. But it doesn't require digging through the game files.
