Ah, in that case, I meant with major updates, since those always seem to never be shown before release.longname, there is a public beta branch available on Steam since last year, right after the Steam release, and mentioned regularly in website news.
How you can access it is described here: http://spaceengine.org/news/blog190623/
Age = time existedI have two questions, in regard of stars age and asteroid belts.
I don't understand very much the meaning of age/lifetime values for non-main sequence star, for example, age is the actual age and lifetime is the extimated time from present to the "death" of the star? Then why planets around very massive star (giants, supergiants ecc.) have the second number(lifetime of star) as "age"? For example sometimes i find supergiants, or red giant with a x billion years age and few million years as lifetime...but the planets around didn't form before?
Also, another question: why i never find asteroid belts inside solar systems and instead it seems that i only find comets around?
thanks
p.s. i'm referring to version 0.990.39 (the one i use) because the new one keeps crashing when click on info tab in various situations, i know that this issue is known but also i would know if this problem will be fixed in another update...the new exposure system is much way better.
Thank you, but the fact that the planet have the second value as age it's a bug or something similar? Anyway thank for the asteroid belts answer, tooAge = time existedI have two questions, in regard of stars age and asteroid belts.

Lifetime = Time left
I don't think SE generates asteroid belts yet.
There may be an update coming soon to fix these things. But of course I cannot guarantee it!

Thank you, hope they fix that bug, i just reinstalled the last version to see if sometimes has changed (after some driver update) but nothing, i click on "info" at the very start of the game and SE crash without display any error, so i guess i keep using the old version (0.990.39) until they fix that.
I have ever noticed an other strange thing, sometimes when i land on surface of planets the surface (or the camera, i don't know, it's relative i guess) keep trembling, but only if the time flow, i mean if i pause time that "trembling" of surface stops
Is this also a known bug?
