afaik we are no longer taking in new beta testers atmThank you XBrain130. What are the requirements to participate in this closed beta? Donate?
Why?
Yes, behind the scenes work must be pretty hard to iron out all the bugs. All beta software has them. I can tell you some horror stories about some bugs being so bad that they fried graphics cards (not mine but I've read about it and it's why we should all be patient and be glad for the awesome program we already have even as we look to the future.)Typbürste, your patience will be rewarded soon.
The problem with releasing random patches are bugs, and it may not be a big deal to you but given the early state and the likelihood of really bad bugs its best to iron them out before a major public release. I have seen some really bad bugs in my time of beta testing the program, so trust me when I say it is well worth waiting. The incomplete or partially added features also need to be finished or touched up before any public release.
