Don't tempt me lol... Last site i put my heart n soul into i got "Forum Lord" status for 15,000 posts lmao. I shall contain myself here though. Im barely a learner driver in the program, finding new ways to view things every time i log in. Sadly not as much time for it as i'd like but i'm loving every trip.

Question: is it allowed to make videos, pictures etc and post them in places like youtube and faceplant etc?
Lmao! 15.000 posts!? That's more than here I cold ever do!
And it is allowed to post anything you like here. :)
Specs: Ram: 8gb | Vram: 1gb | Graphics card: AMD Radeon | Hard-drive: 1tb | Processor: AMD Athlon X4 750 Quad Core Processor | CPU: 3.40 GHz | OS: Win 10 and XP (lol) |
We use time just to orientate through space.

Okie dokie, always would credit the program any images are taken from.

Next question, and i realize i might be in the wrong hole - zipping about the galaxy and a little bit outside of it (one must get ones feet wet before diving into other galaxies right?) one has found a handful of life-bearing worlds. I read something in here about catalogues? I just press a star n go there. The question is: is it possible one might stumble across another user or are we entirely alone while we zip about? Are there worlds in here with more than just "life", worlds with civilizations or some such? I never know what to expect. Just turned my graphics all the way up and yup that's muchhhhhhhhh more exciting when you land lol. dang. I sound totally newbified. Wondering should i ask what the various acronyms are :/

You are entirely alone, SE is an offline program, at least for now.

No, for now the most you can find is "life".

Right now, by expanding the catalogue with new exoplanets every new version, or by leaving to the user the chance of doing that, by installing exoplanet addon scripts available in threads, or by creating a script with the help of the manual.
Kelt-9b doesn't seem to be yet in SE catalogue.

On the forum user's profile badge to the left on this screen, what does the colored bar, located above the number of posts a user has made, represent? At first I thought it was a loading bar that froze up lol.

I have a question - Updates... Are they automatic and just happen or does a newbified newberator like myself have to go searching and download and install updates manually? If so, how's one do this? And are you the SAME Mosfet i had enormous respect for elsewhere? If you are, you'll know lol.

No. Updates are manual, and will continue to be until there is a publicly available version on Steam.

Whenever there is an update, it will be mentioned on the forum, on the news section of the site, and will be put in the downloads section.
