Very oddly RDR2 is one of the few games I have not seen benefit from this upgrade, same perf as before, but I have been tweaking settings to get a bigger boost.  Must be their ultra settings that bottleneck modern systems.

Doc how do you like your new Ryzen 5900X?  Could it be run on an air cooler rather than water cooling?
I'm actually thinking of getting the 5950X since I can upgrade to that without having to change my board (a great feature with AMD systems).  I also want to run it on air cooling only.  Is there a high end air cooler you could recommend for that cpu?

So far I am not disappointed with how it performs, but I recommend a larger air cooler like the one I purchased, definitely helps with thermals.

I was going to get one, but even with everything I do the performance gains are minimal

Sounds like the extra cores and threads dont get used.  5900X is probably the better purchase then and runs cooler.

Nice. If I sell my car I may be able to build a similar system. Happy gaming & addon development Doc!

My PC: AMD Ryzen 1200 (8core, 8threads), 16g gb ram 3200ghz, RX 470 4g. For me, it's a great spec for job/entertainment for sure. I wish the prices on graphic cards would be cheaper, but it is what it is for now at least.

Yeah you should definitely go to 16, I have 16 GB by default of RAM.  I have an additional 32 GB but haven't needed to use it yet so it just sits in its box.
How to create virtual memory on your hard drives--
go to control panel, system, advanced
Under performance settings there should be something about virtual memory
It's normally set to let windows decide whats best, get rid of that lol
Set a predefined amount of memory on each of your hard drives as virtual ram
I have 160 GB on each hard drive, one is an nvme m.2 ssd drive the other is a mech hard drive
so the total becomes 320 GB virtual memory.

According Collins english dictionary PC is also an acronym for "Politically Correct" so it's very likely the original poster wanted to convey a double meaning.

Taking in count that my screen is a little more than 1300x700 in resolution, can I run space engine with a gt730? or it is better to get a little more cash to buy an gtx 750?

I would suggest a 1060 6 GB at minimum but even better if you get one of the 8 GB cards.

Is it worth spending an extra 90 dollars to get a 12gb rtx 2060 instead of a rtx 3050?
The advantages of the 2060 are the extra 4gb of vram and better performance in games.
I don't think that it's necessary to have 12gb of vram, 8 is enough but the vram of the 2060 is considerably faster.
What do you think?

Also, if I go for the 2060 should I get a Zotac one or an Asus one?

Has anyone used a Radeon 6000 series (aka RDNA2) on SE?  Last I heard which is not directly related to SE but is relevant to SE, that RDNA2 was not so good with OpenGL but recent drivers where AMD reworked OpenGL support has seen big improvements, 30+ % in most games, bringing them comparable to nvidia in OpenGL, or at least closed the gap a lot.

I am considering one as they are massively cheaper than nvida here in Australia but not heard if RDNA2 has any other known issues with SE or not.

If anyone has had actual experience using them on SE, please share. It will be greatly appreciated.
