Scientific articles by forum members!

So I decided to create a website section, where we will collect forum posts which deserves to be turned into articles. More details here:

This thread is created to collect links to such threads. Example are posts by Watsisname and FastFourierTransform:

http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=446#p20915
http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic. ... =45#p21605
http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic. ... =60#p22325

Post here links to posts which you think are good, detailed and scientific!

At the risk of sounding egotistical, I'll link my own dissertation on dinosaur speciation, diversity and mesozoic geoscience:
http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&p=24574#p24574

Watsisname on testing the Lambda-CDM model:
http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=47&start=1230
http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=47&start=1230

Both Watsisname & I had an interesting, prolonged conversation with a user on the Big Bang theory and space colonization:
Starting: http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=47&start=1380
Ending: http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=47&start=1410

This was a really interesting talk between various members about the possibilities of aliens and FTL travel. Many members had highly informed opinions on the matter:
http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=70&start=225

Another great discussion worthy of an academic paper was one on Simulation Theory:

Fast Fourier Transform's post on mapping the interstellar medium is a definite must. :)

I suppose this thread about planets http://forum.spaceengine.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=504 will be interesting both for new and existing users of Space Engine forum. Perhaps we need to create a thread where we all will discuss current space missions and update Space Engine according to the recent space discoveries. Correct me if I'm wrong  :)

This thread is to collect forum posts of scientific content, not fictional content. As for the threads you mentioned, they are there, only buried by more recent topics that apparently are picking the interest for current forum users. For example there's a surge of posts, which is starting to be suspicious, with links regarding a certain UK space private company.

All the threads here have titles and descriptions that are rather self-explanatory, but since this is going off-topic I'd check links in Forum Rules page.

You are right. And that's my fault. I need time to rearrange the information there and make a good presentation on the topic. The last years I've been in a complicated rush for existence so It will probably be another 2 years until I can take this seriously and start helping with the content. I'm glad you liked the information :)
