The night sky is still dark enough for meteors. Here's one meteorite candidate from last night. Too small and over too difficult terrain to warrant any search, though.
We can see the Perseids in astronomical twilight in the southernmost parts of the country, but it's fairly limited. I rarely bother. Geminids, on the other hand...
Does anyone have any images of the spectacular supermoon total lunar eclipse? Couldn't see it here because it happened here during daylight and after moonset, but I'm hoping someone has some nice images to post!

It was at sunrise so very difficult to see here Supposedly it was 80% covered but I didn't see any solar crescent. Mid, did you use eclipse glasses to look or did you just let the equipment do its work?
