I answer here your problem with the oblate star in the Discord channel.

Actually, a large number of your planets are probably tilted incorrectly to the star's equatorial plane.
This is because you did not specify a 'RefPlane' in your 'Orbit' tags.
SpaceEngine then takes 'RefPlane "ExtraSolar"'. If you want your planet planes to line up around the equator of the star, you have to specify 'RefPlane "Equator"'.

Yeah thanks, I figured it out. I would have thought it'd default to Equator anyway because why would any system be aligned to any other plane? 

I guess there's no way to know what the Star Solver is going to do before it loads the scripts is there? Even without the RefPlane Equator it seemed to have decided that the inclination of all the orbits in the system I was asking about was going to be about 45° anyway. I don't really want to set the inclination to be 0 explicitly but certainly if there's a star rotating so fast that it's significantly oblate then I'd like it to default to inclination that's very near 0 rather than 45°. Maybe I'll just have to randomise the inclination to a certain range or something in the script.

Here's a cold world with a thin, breathable atmosphere generated by my system - that's ice all over it, but there are a few warm patches with liquid water! In the Traveller RPG this would be a type 4/5 atm.  This is what's referred to as a "Thin/Low" atmosphere in the Traveller RPG - a massive world with a relatively short atmospheric scale height and a thin atmosphere that settles in the rifts and lowlands. Or at least it's as close as I can persuade SE to make it, after fiddling with the rifts and atmosphere settings for this type of planet.  The system below contains two worlds with life, orbiting a 5 billion yr old G0 V star - the first is close to the inner edge of the habitable zone, and the second (shown here) is a very cool looking pre-garden superearth a bit further out! It has microbial life in the oceans that may eventually colonise the land in a few billion years.

I significantly updated the pak file to add binary systems before the stream as well (I was exploring that version of it there) so be sure to download the new version from the link in the first post in the thread! 

I've made a much smaller Cluster (called the NSBCluster) for people who don't have a ton of RAM in their machines - this is a 100ly x 100ly x 100ly cube of 1959 systems, and it only uses about 1GB RAM when running. (if you have both inistalled then the systems in each have different names - this one starts with "NSB", the larger one starts with "NST").

EDIT: It looks like this works in the free 0.980 version as well if you have that - put the pak in the same place (the addons/catalogs/ folder) and it should load in there. Presumably the larger NST Cluster also would work there.
