When I saw the title of this thread, I burst out laughing. But then I realized the seriousness of the issue at hand - it is indeed strange but not exactly surprising that someone wants to take credit for either making, or being involved in, SE. It is indeed a wonderful program with great potential.

All I can say is that we should expect more of these con artists as the engine gains popularity, regardless of which country they're from. It happens to a lot of indie softwares and games when they start to go on the market.

I don't think there's any way you can stop cons and the spreading of misinformation, but the spread of correct information surely helps.

First spam and DDoS and now infringement and misrepresentation.  China playing in the global stage is certainly interesting to watch.

Don't talk nonsense here. The people who attacked SE Forum recently have nothing to do with SE propaganda, nor with the Chinese. There is no evidence that they did it.
