A while ago I encountered these patterns while zooming in (FOV) on black holes in built 0.9.73. But I didn't manage to reproduce them in 0.9.8

How did this work? Can the shape of planetary rings be controlled in 0.990?

It'll be a specific placement of objects to create ring shadows.

How did this work?
The ring is not a normal ring, but a cloud layer on an invisible object.

Once upon a time, like, a while ago, I was searching for earth like moons that weren't tidally locked to their parent planets. This is a result of that exploration.

Since you ARE a beta tester, I'll assume this is SE 0990? If so, then we are in for a treat. The terrain looks gorgeous.
