How do you get aspect ratios/resolutions like that? Ive been trying to make things like that but I cant figure out how..

Having a monitor in that shape helps. I'm currently using a Dell 1,920 by 1,080 monitor. Not the best monitor in the world, but good price, and works great for me. Oh... this one also rotates, so you can use it in 1,080 by 1,920 mode. (I've worked in typesetting and desktop publishing for a long time, I was an early adopter of "swivel" monitors and multiple monitor set-ups.)

But you should be able to run SE in windowed mode and specify the size of the window to whatever you want. I would imagine you will have to set up the shot in a lower resolution, stop the clock, switch the window size, wait for it to render, take the pic.

Let me know if that works out for you (I've never tried it myself, but I'm sure others routinely take screenshots at higher resolutions than their monitors), or if you have any more questions.

Welcome aboard the portrait-mode club.
Never really been a big fan of the Star Trek designs, but you've done a great job with the textures. (And these shots look great with the ISS.) And I must say, I think I could live with the Enterprise F that you posted in your mods thread. Is that one already included in your Star Trek addons?
