A-L-E-X, oddly enough some times I get flashbacks of dreams from 20 years ago, just little bits and pieces though not the full thing.  I often wonder if this is a contributing factor to deja vu I get all the time

Yes!  I get the same thing.  It's weird because ordinarily I don't remember my dreams from when I was little but either something I see on TV or experience in real life causes me to remember a dream from a long time ago.  Sometimes I can't figure out if I am remembering a dream or an actual experience I had- and that's where the deja vu comes from.
