kham132, in your palette.cfg, you have multiple land palettes for terras with style ranges of (0.05, 0.13) and nothing that goes higher than 0.37, so it seems that if Space Engine can't find a palette for the style 0.914, it uses the ocean palette instead. The style ranges of palettes for each planet type shouldn't overlap each other, and the full set of palettes needs to cover the entire range from 0 to 1.

No, 0.990 have completely different system. Gas giants can be converted into it though.

Just a heads up, the original host for the Planet Palettes utility has stopped working, so I've uploaded the utility itself to the OP. It should be a zip file. I'm waiting patiently for an update to this for 0.990 lol. I thought about doing it myself but meh, someone else will probably do it anyways eventually...

Definitely not from me for a while, sadly ;_; I splurged on Stellaris the same time 0.990 went public, cuz I was originally (Edit: And regrettably) upset about certain aspects of 0.990, so now I gotta budget all over again xP
