Topic for Music Lovers

Yeah, I do like Classical music but I don't actually listen to it very often. For music I'm very cyclical. For most of the time I listen to game Sountracks (lately those of Persona 5, I also made a guitar cover ) and Metal, but sometimes I have small periods in which I listen a specific genre, like ...

Topic for Music Lovers

Are there classical music lovers here? Do ballet parts, opera arias and simple symphonies inspire anyone? This passion woke up in me just a year ago. I don’t know, maybe I’m getting old or just matured and therefore all the husks fall off from me, I no longer listen to one-day groups, but I actively ...

A very PC discussion

Yes, you can buy a more powerful graphics card to improve the performance of your computer, especially if the applications are heavy. I tuned mine and therefore allowed myself to buy a high-quality gaming monitor. The article https://homemakerguide.com/best-gaming-monitor-under-300/ helped a lot in ...

Yesterday's timelapse from one of our meteor stations in the forests north of Oslo. Winter has come with lots of snow and temperatures around -10C.

Watched the video 5 times. The play of light and glare soothes and bewitches. And while the whole earth is covered in ...

What are you doing in Quarantine?

I read Frederick Buckman and Jonathan Stroud during quarantine. Very interesting and easy books by one author and by the second. I just swallowed the books, read everything in one breath. Perhaps these are very good products among the overwhelming amount of rubbish called "modern literature".

Asteroids, meteors, and meteorites

In Antarctica there's very hard wind-blown snow, or ice, and much of Antarctica is a very dry desert. Wind and time grind snow crystals into fine powder which compacts a lot. Also, in the summer the sun might be able to melt or sublimate the snow, in particular around dark objects like a rock. Here ...

What phone do you use

I bought a Samsung Galaxy a71 a year ago. I am very pleased with the quality of the photos that this smartphone takes. He's not the coolest, but very productive and worth the money.

The pictures are amazing. If you look carefully, you seem to be transported to that place, at that time, at that moment when you can see everything that is in the image.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Thread

I was reading that perhaps the number of deaths have also been underestimated and we'll find out later that many more people died from covid complications. I wonder if there is some truth to that. Numbers in NYC have been adjusted upwards when the cause of death of thousands of cases was changed to ...

Elon Mask has identified the biggest challenge in colonizing Mars - building a base for permanent residence of people. He said it is even more difficult than getting to Mars. But, before this statement, he said that it is impossible to colonize Mars in the nearest future, however, there is already ...

Yeah I agree. I drank almond milk for a while but the problem is that you need to put sugar in it or it tastes too much bitter.
Soy milk seems to be a good replacement, I never tried it though!
I don't know about cheese, if you could still use plant-based milk, but still you shouldn't completely ...

Nebula Gallery!

What equipment do you use to view nebulae? Or are they a selection of photos from the Internet? I just think you need super-powerful equipment for such research. And for such equipment, you first need to be outside the city, so that the light from the lanterns does not interfere. And it seems to me ...
