Can my PC run Space Engine?

I just wanted to add that after hours of usage at the above mixed settings, my GPU temp is down by a full 25C!  at 60C.  GPU usage is between 80-98% but as long as the temps are this low it's fine.

5396 But considering how much organic hydrocarbons we've detected in interstellar space, I consider that prediction a viable possibility. It certainly sounds tempting.  The raw materials are there, and there even exist chemical pathways for producing a variety of amino acids.  But more conditions a...

5225 so Im not saying i want creatures on a planet but what about creatures in the Info panel or will that be too much? You have to consider that Earth is home to maybe billions of creatures, which would mean that such a tab would probably fill many millions of pages at best." honestly i was t...

5392 Hoyle predicts that we'll even find intelligent swarms of dust that exist in interstellar space. Hoyle also predicted a lot of things that were wrong, and rejected a lot of things that are true. Yes- his "steady state" model didn't work out so well.  But considering how much organic ...

1138 Hi my computer is low budget, so i don't have very high specs. I just wanted to know, what was the lowest graphics settings possible? Change the following settings in the Graphics menu: ⋅ Anisotropy level: off ⋅ MSAA antialiasing: off ⋅ FXAA antialiasing: off &sdo...

so Im not saying i want creatures on a planet but what about creatures in the Info panel or will that be too much Definitely would be way too hard since this simulator is based on realism. You'd need to understand the complex processes of evolution and create an algorithm for it, which I doubt is p...

Thanks for the replies. here are some other suggestions 1. For Terra and Titans, how bout we have a water/land/ice ration on in the info screen? 2. Rocks are getting popular for suggestion but just saying it 3. Are galactic clusters and super galactic clusters too much? No, galactic superclusters a...

halowraith1 , yes and maybe even close the universe so you can fly off in one direction and come back to where you left from. I'd rather they add new universes with different laws of physics inside Kerr black holes (ones where we can set parameters like the speed of light and the alpha fine structu...

Can my PC run Space Engine?

Now I'm reading that 98% GPU Usage isn't so bad- that it's actually better to have full GPU usage then to offload that work to the CPU.  It's so hard getting definitive answers about this stuff......

No, only the controls. Thanks.  I forgot to ask this earlier- is there a way to throttle down frame rates?  When I have high usage on a program like Stellarium, there is a way to throttle down frame rates by editing the .CFG file and that lowers the usage rate, I'm hoping that can be done here also...

5297 is there any way to return to default settings after experimenting with these (and other settings)? Delete the file ' main-user.cfg ' from the ' config ' directory. You may also want to delete the file ' save-user.cfg '. SpaceEngine will then re-create these files from ' main-def.cfg ' and ' u...

5297 Harbinger, is there any way to return to default settings after experimenting with these (and other settings)?  I can't find a way to go back to default. There isn't any "default" button except in the  controls settings, so you have to use your memory. Thanks, is the default button i...
