An's Addon Database

Very nice stuff man thanks for the Christmas present!
I am glad you like it. :) I have another present.

Update: I created two versions of the "What if Jupiter was a star" scenario. An M6V red dwarf and a Sun double - G2V type star.

I'll be creating a few things and listing them here. I focus on planetary systems mostly from science fiction films and games.

Planets with potentially breathable atmospheres

No SO2 here, H2S is unpleasant but survivable. This time, carbon dioxide ruins the party.

Mods and Addons - Requests, suggestions and ideas

Is there a mod that turns Jupiter into a star or does someone intends on making one?
I am on it :) I'll make multiple versions in which Jupiter will be a different type of star.

Star Wars addons

I've created a few things that could be added. The Stygian caldera nebula and 5 systems. (Byss, Dathomir, Korriban, Mandalore and Ryloth) All of these addons are placed to the correct positions (or so I assume) in the Star Wars galaxy. If you have any objections regarding anything (Whether the ...

Relationships

I am also a 21 years old student. And virgin.

I've never had a relationship. There are multiple reasons for it. I haven't grown above 1.5 metres (4'11'') during elementary school and I am 165 centimeters (5'5'') tall today. I looked 14 years old at best until I began to grow moustache, beard and ...

Astrophotography

I have a Canon EOS 1200D. Is it possible to photograph the Sun without risk of burning the chip or other internal systems, and how could I accomplish it? I am interested in two kinds of photos.

1) At first, photographs in which the Sun itself is not my primary target, like sunsets, reflections on ...

Science and Astronomy Questions

It would be a commanding presence in the night sky when the Moon isn't around, and plainly visible in broad daylight as well.
I know it is possible to see Venus in daylight without any optical aid, provided that you know it's exact presence. I've seen it many times. I also managed to get Venus and ...

Total Solar Eclipse 2017

I wasn't able to go see it this time, so I am glad for the photos. The next total solar eclipse will happen on the 2.7.2019 , although it's not going to be such a bomb for the media. Better luck in two years for my first total eclipse. :) The most I have seen was a partial eclipse, 4.1.2011 , with a ...

Speaking of the Bortle scale, how do I interpret this map: darksitefinder? It uses 15 degrees of darkness/brightness, while the Bortle scale uses only 9 degrees to my knowledge.

Science and Astronomy Questions

Watsisname, thank you for your answer regarding planetary density :)

I have one new question. Some planets in SE orbit very close to their parent stars. So close that they are classified as scorched. Some of these have large moons which are so bright on the "night" sky of their planets, that their ...

11229 How can I give a star any color of my liking, other than using effective temperature?
You can do something like this here by changing the solar atmosphere in the editor.
