Intergalactic trip in preparation

Once again, the boost exponent is your warp or hyperdrive throttle. Step 1: Select target. Step 2: Click on "hyperjump to" autopilot. My list is a lot shorter than yours. Oh... Step 3: Enjoy the trip. Mind you, I don't bother with long intergalactic trips. I see no point to it. Takes too l...

Sometimes SE ships and autopilots go wonky.  The info panel says it is trying to correct the delta-v of 32.62 light-years/sec. Good luck with that in your current lifetime with 12.2g engines. ;)

Looks good. 37609 So if I apply the main engines to neutralize the vector bug, whats the purpose of sync velocity? That is syncing velocity. It lines up the direction and velocity you are travelling with your target. 37609 ... the amount of time it took me to get to my current speed is what it will ...

Every vector bug comes in pairs. They are 180 degrees apart. If one is positive, the other is negative. If one is on-screen, the other one is behind you. The delta-v bug shows you which way to thrust, and how much change in velocity is required, in order to get your trajectory pointing towards your ...

Using the "sync velocity" autopilot while in Warp HUD mode should do it for you automatically.

Ay ay ay.... First... the delta-v bug is off the screen. You might not see the arrow because they may overlap with other bugs also off-screen.  If you see two of the same vectors on opposite sides of the screen, one positive and one negative, that means they are off screen. You rotated and pointed t...

Alright according to Arrival after I'm getting closer and closer to my destination, but somehow the target is farther away lol scr05710.jpg You are not getting closer. Your target is well off to your left. You are still running at full throttle, rapidly approaching ludicrous speed. ;) The autopilot...

Start Space Engine.  Pick warp-capable ship you like.  Find a local target (a nice planet or moon within about 100 light-years or so). Make that the ship target (with control of the ship, press "T", click on the target (the icon in the F2 system menu will do nicely). Click on the bottom ri...

First of all, keep in mind that by default, the SE hyperdrive autopilot does not use the main engines. Except for setting up the warp vector in the first place, and sometimes some mid-course correction.  And you are still picking some extremely distant targets, and wanting to get there in a few minu...

Yes, the boost exponent is the hyperdrive. But you are just pushing buttons without understanding how the SE hyperdrive works. When the hyperdrive autopilot first starts up, it aligns the velocity vector with your target. It may boost you in a direction not to your liking, but you are talking about ...

The autopilot will set up a trajectory towards your target. It may have to boost at an angle somewhat perpendicular to your path to the target, in order to "bend" your flight path towards the target. If you don't want to let the autopilot finish each phase of its hyperspace jump routine, t...

You don't. You user the warp HUD for that.
I can't do any better than this.
