Using a joystick -- Is there a way to "auto-trim"?

I have just begun using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. I have calibrated it in Windows, and that worked fine. I am liking using the joystick with one problem. It is very difficult to keep the nose down when flying in an atmosphere. If I let go of the stick, the nose of the craft will go up, and ...

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.990

Previous versions of Space Engine have had a reverse time button. [...] I used the "tardis" cheat in the in-game console several months ago, and it worked. I still have it there, but it no longer works. Maybe a recent update has eliminated its usefulness. Is it a big deal to have the reverse time ...

Reverse time button.

Previous versions of Space Engine have had a reverse time button. I found this extremely useful. There are times when I want to rotate a planet in reverse time just a bit, or maybe move the planet or moon slightly in reverse in its orbit. Without this button, I must rotate the planet or moon almost ...

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

In reply to Mosfat's post of 22 Dec 2019, adding "tardis" to the in-game console worked. Thanks a lot for the tip. I used it when making a video several months ago. I have not used the Flight Simulator since, but was going to give it a try again today, but noticed the "reverse time" button wasn't ...

General suggestions for SpaceEngine

In 0.9.9.0, when using the Flight Simulator, there is no "reverse time speed" button. I found this extremely useful in 0.9.8.0 when putting a spaceship in a low orbit, when planning an atmospheric entry, and in general useful when making videos. When a particular trajectory doesn't work quite right ...

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

Thanks, Mosfet, for the quick answer.  That's kind of what I thought, but I thought it was important enough to ask.

Troubleshooting and bug reports - SpaceEngine 0.9.8.0

This seems to be a problem with Space Engine software. When traveling over a water surface and the star near the horizon, the star's reflection continues off the water even when the star becomes hidden behind an object like a mountain or hill. I haven't been able to find anyone else referring to ...

Copyright / Music for ingame records

Thanks HarbingerDawn for your reply. This is in regards to my post 04 Apr 2017, and your response 26 Jul 1017. I understand the copyright for the music belongs to the music artist. I have gotten permission to use the music. The copyright claim is posted by a digital music company, and apparently is ...

Your SpaceEngine Videos

Here is one of my 8 Space Engine videos.  It's my attempt to simulate looking out the cockpit window of an aircraft while flying over an Earth-like planet with rings.  Comments are welcome here or on You Tube.  My other videos are on You Tube at Hap N Stance.  Thanks.

Sending locations to others.

Just curious. How do you feel when someone asks for the location of a planet in one of your Space Engine videos? I hesitate to reveal my planet locations in my You Tube videos. Maybe this sounds strange, but it takes time to search for and find a really beautiful planet. Seems like the person asking ...

Copyright / Music for ingame records

I have posted a video on You Tube using Space Engine. I have used a copyrighted song, and have gotten permission from the artists to use it. After posting the video, I see there is a copyright claim by a music company, and apparently it is legitimate, and they can put ads on my video. No ads yet ...
