That's good to hear. I tested the mod myself when 0990 was released but it's reassuring to know it works on y'all's end too.Messier wrote:I even made a screenshot of it, as evidence.
I saw your post on the Elite Dangerous Facebook fan group. It makes my day to see folks using my mod. But it also makes me feel kinda guilty that I haven't added any ships since :P
NathanKerbonaut wrote:I considered adding Gutamuya ships in the past, I may just do that when I have the time. Would probably be a good opportunity to mess around with PBR materials (those giant windows would look amazing with reflections).

The only internal spaces in ED's ship models are the cockpits (there are fighter hangars and SRV bays, but they have no windows, and they're difficult to rip, so I use a simplified version of the SRV bays and exclude the fighter hangars). As for the cockpits, for a variety of reasons I use low-poly versions that appear in ED when the camera is located outside of a ship. They may not be as high quality as the full-resolution cockpits, but they're good enough.

I want to use them both for air travel and for space travel. So for things like exploring the planet, I want to fly at a constant elevation above the surface without either hitting a mountain or flying off into space lol. Also is there a way of adding a compass to tell what direction one is traveling in (N,S,E,W)?
