Flickering system browser BUG: Turn off Diffraction spikes OR just Astroniki spikes stops the flickering for me.

Ettore - I also noticed this thx for the solution but I am getting this issue with 'Key' controls and 'settings' as well??

After deleting Keys.cfg it still 'Remembers' the old/wrong key changes. e.g SE keeps assigning the decrease time speed to 'K' I am forced to remap a few keys every restart. Not sure what is happening here.

Also all my graphics settings are reset in Menu but not in the Simulation modes? There is a definite bug with the 'settings' system coupled with the lack of user-db.cfg file.

A few other bugs:
- In planetarium mode when I 'Go To' a saved location all the stars/galaxies sometimes are missing apart from system i'm in. (Intermittent issue)
- Created ships on the surface of planets are 'floating' in mid air and not on 'surface'? *
- Some ships model textures are black or missing and some still reflect light even when in complete darkness. *

* I am aware Ships (Flight Sim) is in Alpha but thought I would mention anyway.

Not sure what to make of this? Other terra/life planets look fine but those that resemble earth are like this. Two so far and both have half the planet surface dark like behind an eclipse... And where is the oceans? Titan planets? Are they named something else? Thanks!

Well it is a bug. I was able to hunt it down pretty fast too lol. DrivenDarkening had NO_DATA. I moved the slider a bit and the half dark *** vanished

I keep getting an issue with my graphics settings reverting back to high, its happened about 6 times after setting a custom level.

I don't have a very fast machine, its a Del Vostro 3360 i7 6GB Ram and an Intel 4000 integrated graphics card (yes I know its not up to the spec). I was surprised however that it ran the pre-release version 0.980 quite well, so I purchased the full 0.990 version. This does not run. It loads OK but just stalls almost immediately. I just wonder why the pre-release version 0.980 seemed OK - a bit misleading, I guess I can go back to version 0.98 :-(

All the planets and stars look like translucent spheres, no surfaces or clouds load. Any idea why this is the case?

First of all, I felt very beautiful in the space engine interface, and then I added the tutorial project. When I learned the space engine tutorial, I found some abnormalities. The tutorial is based on a step-by-step procedure, but sometimes after completing this phase of learning, the tutorial prompt box interface will not automatically jump to the next step, you need to click the back button, then click the Continue button, the tutorial will enter the next A learning phase, I hope to get an optimized experience. In addition, when the terrain texture is loaded on the surface of the planet, sometimes it is not possible to display the surface in time. Hi, I have some problem when I see the architectural system of my custom system. Is for a planet around a barycenter around the barycenter star system. Also, I think the "scale distance" isn't correct because the biggest star hide a group orbiting around a another barycenter. My system is already on the forum (Spacyas/Blackeshelsystem), I don't think is just me.

Hello! I'm having trouble with one of my custom systems. Yesterday, I edited a planet of mine to have different rings. I made sure the planet still had rings after I left the program. Today, however, I launch Space Engine, and the planet does not have its rings anymore. It can only have rings under a certain limit of parameters. This is quite strange issue, and I'm not sure how to fix it. I edit my planets via [i][b]D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SpaceEngine\data\catalogs.[/b][/i]

Specifications just in case: Intel i5, 16 GB of ram, and a GTX 1080

UPDATE: It seems as if I can't edit most planets, the changes will restart after I exit the program.

Hi.

Procedural nebula texture crashes when I change Scale.x, Scale.y, Scale. z with editor.
To be more specific, texture crashes when Scale value are increased to 1 or more[color=#222222][font=Roboto, sans-serif][size=175].[/size][/font][/color]
