To make up for the messy Mars Anaglyph video posted previously I felt I should share something a little better.
So, I present to you my first compilation of clips with a soundtrack and some still slides as a short interlude in the middle and at the end.
I decided against the 180 minute or so video I threatened everyone with a while back and just uploaded the first 22 minutes of it, shown here.
Clear your desk off, sit back, get your mind in alpha state and... I really, really hope you enjoy!

Amazing, although the clips are too long at the beggining. I really like the music, however the music doesn't fit very well with the video.
Also, i recognize Hoag's Object at 1:57! :)

I can always count on you Xoran for great honest feed back!

The lengths in order - 0:36, 0:25, 0:33, 0:41, 0:29, 1:40, 1:18, 0:30, 0:45, 0:36, 1:10, 1:40, 0:54, 0:45, 1:47, 0:47, 1:40, 0:49, 0:43, 0:50, 0:13, 0:30, 0:36, 1:40
With all the still screenshots "slideshows" all at the 1:40 length, 4 of them. So I take it that anything over 1 minute is way too long? I did select music that almost coincides with the change to another clip, but I think you are saying it is not the best genre for enjoying space travel.

Ha! yes, I knew the more well traveled would recognize that ring of clouds around a yellowish center as Hoag's Object. My other clips have other locations in the Milky Way and Nebula that are easily recognizable too. However, I neglected to record the coordinates of any of the other locations, unfortunately.  Thank you my friend for the feedback!

Hi, i just learned that there is new forum now, but i couldn't log in with my old account. Guess old accounts was not transferred here?

Well, i just wanted to show you my another video i made. It's another spaceship flight video. This time to Arp 148, which are two colliding galaxies and landed and beautiful terra with life there. On journey, i used black hole for acceleration again.

Indeed it is. I would say 5 - 20 seconds is optimal for video, and 2 - 7.5 seconds for pictures in a slideshow, but your video, your choice. :) Slideshows are an exception to 1 minute being way too long because they have many places in them, reducing the boredom significantly. However, since they have images and not videos, individual images should shift quicker than videos.
I did select music that almost coincides with the change to another clip, but I think you are saying it is not the best genre for enjoying space travel.
Yes, that is exactly what i am saying. Personally i would choose music that fits with the theme (ambient spacey music in the case of SE videos) rather than music that fits with changes to the video, but that is just my opinion. I personally liked the music and have little problem with it because i love dubstep, although it does not fit with SE. But i feel that there are a decent amount of people who dislike dubstep-ish music, particularly if it is in a video like a space video.

Good stuff Viktor, not sure why you would necessary need to sling shot around a black hole to increase your velocity if you are already using a warp drive but I haven't played with space craft yet so I am completely ignorant. Nice video!

Thanks. Yea, i know it's not needed. I simply did it, because it's cool, that's all :D I did video before that was only about the the sling shot around black hole. That one was much more wild. Here it is:

Yea, i'm doing Spaceship flight videos. But i'll probably make part 2 of the last video with camera only, just to show more of the beautiful Arp 148, AKA Mayall's Object.

Glad to see IC 1101's black hole getting some love. It's a monster. Also, really nice music on the slingshot vid.

Unfortunately IC 1101's lack of star density makes a lot of people not go to it. But that black hole is amazing :)

I'd noticed how few stars there were in the rest of IC 1101, but I assumed that was just my copy being a little buggy.

Since hearing about the beauty of IC 1101 I had to get all touristy and go grab some photos of it!
Star density is heavy enough that I hear my engine whine lol
I can't imagine life would appreciate all the radiation there though.
