tRetroVisor: Bad film, excellent re-creation - I just wish it were longer! I love cinematic SE videos. I have tried my hand at it before, but SE stopped being able to access 21st century video encoders when I updated to Windows 10... :(

When will this be released?. 0980 is featureless re planetary surfaces. 0980 just doesn't have the oomph like the previous versions. Just an observation. These new graphics in 0990 are so cool. Your video has me chomping at the bit.

You may need to update your graphics card drivers if 0980 has featureless planets.

I downloaded the 0980 patch when I had the previous version before this current one.

Then try a driver roll-back - there's an option somewhere to return to the previous version of the drivers. 99% of the time, a featureless planet is a driver issue - maybe the new drivers broke some compatibility or something.

Oh yeah, I made a thing a few days ago.

And apparently I forgot to post my other videos here huh. If anyone manages to get interested in my generic video making, the other ones are public on my youtube channel and are also featured somewhere on the website (gallery and news i think).
Oh. I have a youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/c/Phunnie

Would make new thread about this, but i can't.

I would like to report another try of old challenge from Space Engineer i made, which was braking down a ship using black hole. I mean, it was about accelerating using black hole to significant percentage of light speed and then break the ship down from this speed using another black hole. Accelerating is not a problem, but braking... Well, at my first attempt my physical velocity was 0,70c and the black hole didn't even have effect on my direction as i passed just close to the event horizon and through the accretion disk and the black hole just slowed me down just a little bit. Well, now i i had 66% of light speed, found black hole 0.24 AU large, but this time i went right into the event horizon. Just not exactly in the middle. In the time i entered the event horizon, my ship was moving 99% of light speed and inside i orbited singularity and then was catapulted out of the black hole again (was pretty cool, but not sure if Einstein would agree with this). When i was moving away from black hole, the black hole's gravity managed to only slow me down to 60% of light speed. Then i got too far away and the gravity had no effect on me anymore.

So i think my speed at the start needs to be lower or you need a bigger black hole. But i recorded this try and it looked cool, so i'll probably edit nice video out of it.

Here's a video I did awhile back...not the best, especially compared to, well, everyone else's videos, but eh, its my first attempt at a video like this.

Search the skies for a new home
As the old one burns
In ashen skies and firey night
The void my only savior
I, am the lone, space pioneer.

Hello everyone, I'm new here but I also love SpaceEngine and that's why I've made some videos to support it. Here's one of my videos and my YouTube channel page:
