Alienasa, looking foward for more eclipse videos!
And how about lunar eclipses too? if SE 0980e allows that
I'm using 0.9.9.0 Steam Edition Beta at the moment. I may do lunar eclipses but It's maybe less interesting. Also it's more finicky with the exposure settings, plus last time I simulated a lunar eclipse I didn't really see any blood moon even at high exposure levels. I guess SE doesn't simulate the light being curved around the earth via the earth's atmosphere yet.

Good to know that Alienasa, have you tried annular solar eclipses, it would be interesting if SE can visualize that.
P.S. How do I get the Steam Edition?

The Steam version is not yet publicly available. There were only a limited number of keys for some beta testers.

In the video I posted there are several annular solar eclipses :) And as has been said the steam edition beta is a closed kind of deal. I believe only a select group, maybe 30 people or so have had access since it started. I don't really expect there to be any access for others in the future until release on steam of course, but don't quote me on that.

Here is one of my 8 Space Engine videos.  It's my attempt to simulate looking out the cockpit window of an aircraft while flying over an Earth-like planet with rings.  Comments are welcome here or on You Tube.  My other videos are on You Tube at Hap N Stance.  Thanks.

I've just finished a little Chill-Out Video with Space Engine in the Background. I heard this song some time ago while playing SE and it fit quiet well. After this video I was motivated to take some more videos, maybe there will be more in the future. If you have any advice or idea feel free to comment here or under my Video!
I hope you like it :)

I just had so much fun with my first video that I decided to do a planet portrait of some other planets. Here is my second try:)
While rendering I watched a lot of your videos, great stuff around here! And what a interesting video about the eclipse from Alienasa! I've been around here in the forum for quite some time without an account, but i never looked into this section^^

One of my favorite videos!  May I ask how large the file size was? I'm trying to get into this but want to keep manageable file sizes (less than 100mb).

An arbitrary space engine short film I made with chillstep background music. Enjoy!

(This was done partly with rodrigo's textures and clouds, and also recorded using only in 0.980.)
Oh. I have a youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/c/Phunnie

When I am away from my desktop or laptop computers, walking around everywhere on this planet Earth, I miss seeing my Space Engine fly-bys and stars and planets and galaxies and on and on. So... I made a clip from a few other people's extraordinary vids from YouTube and made it play on my phone's background! Woo-hoo I've got 30 minutes worth of amazing, perfectly choreographed flights showing many different scenes. The version on my phone is an mp4; h264, 30fps, 2990kb/s, 720x1280p, 23:57 long, no audio, & 512.74MB

Here's a short clip of it with me screwing around on the screen.
