Well I tried the same. I just keep getting multiple runtime errors and the CPU wants to melt viewing the Gaia catalogue haha 

Did you load the full catalog?  I dont think its worth it if they dont know the stellar spectral types

I did an instructional video in Portuguese about intergalactic stars using the Space Engine and got a YouTube message about copyright infringement of one of the Space Engine's songs? Is that correct?

Yeah I get that with all games except one.  Youtube is very annoying with it's false flagging all the time.

I reckon it would flag a copyright in you made a video in your house or car with a popular/well known song on the radio playing in the background.

I just installed the 3 million star addon and if I set the magnitude limit too high my PC just dies (0-3FPS) and then I get a cascade of a dozen c++ run time errors come up shortly after. I can barely reach the visibility of them that's shown in the video without a complete meltdown of my CPU.

My CPU is just too slow to load that many stars. All 8 cores are at 100% when I view the Gaia stars lol.  Need moar powa!

Wow which CPU do you have?  I downloaded the different ones but haven't decided which one to turn on for just that reason!

Well I just looked and I have the 800K, 2M and 5M options downloaded.

I probably wont set the mag limit higher than about 8.5
