Found the ultrabright nebula again as seen in the 3rd picture. I said it was in one of the Magellanic Clouds, yet it was in Hoag's Object. Not even close

I created this... thing by entering the number 0.5 for every setting in the planet editor.

This is what it looks like from the surface

I created it out of curiosity but inevitably grew attached to it so now it lives on as a comet. It's not the same without the thermal glowing center but it's the least I could do

Shader mods, mainly. It can be found on my Aurea Borealis planet in my TPE Universe mod. I still need to upload the updates for that and my shader mods with my latest changes. This is in 0.980, obviously.
