I recommend turning imposters back on, you won't have any real loss in quality and will have a pretty good performance boost

Is the auto-exposure setting realistic? I always used it, just because I thought it made planets look more photorealistic when compared to NASA photographs of the solar-system's planets, specifically high albedo ones.

Yes it is. I usually have it turned off because i like to see more things on the background.

Haven't been able to get a custom surface to work yet without it being a texture, 0.9.9.0 is weird it seems but it looks nice in 4k
