What happened to your laptop, did it got burned or something?
I spilled coffee on the keyboard. I have another laptop but need to buy some more memory before I can use it for Space Engine.Until then I am reduced to making boring textures for Celestia, as practice I guess.

Toying with the idea of colored clouds:

Aborygen - so if that's two planets almost touching, what happens if you set them to have different rotation speeds? :)

Not much. SE does not have collision system so planets would be like ghosts and penetrate each other.
